What We're Building

Our Projects

Real, measurable impact. From farm to future.

Flagship Initiatives

Two programmes doing the hands-on work of turning young Africans into agricultural business owners.

The Food Beyond Africa Project is a practical agricultural development programme designed to help young farmers move from traditional, low-productivity farming into modern, commercially viable agriculture. The project connects selected farmers and farming communities with quality agricultural inputs, improved farming practices, mechanization, financial inclusion, technology, technical support and reliable markets.

Rather than operating as a one-time donation programme, the project is built around a structured outgrower and off-taking model. Farmers receive the inputs and production support they require, with the associated costs established upfront. Following harvest, their produce is purchased through an agreed off-taking arrangement, with the cost of the provided inputs and support recovered from the proceeds and the balance returned to the farmers. This approach is designed to create a sustainable and potentially repeatable production cycle, allowing farmers to access the resources they need while connecting production to a market.

Our Focus

Young farmer development Improved agricultural practices Quality inputs Mechanized farming Climate-smart agriculture Financial inclusion Agricultural technology Market access and off-taking Increased productivity Youth agricultural enterprise

Our Vision

Produce more. Waste less. Add value. Build businesses.

Through the FBA Outgrower Project, YINAGA seeks to demonstrate that supporting farmers can go beyond simply giving inputs, it can mean building a functioning agricultural business ecosystem around them.

YINAGA AgroTrainings is our agricultural education and capacity-building programme designed to expose young people to the modern realities and opportunities within agriculture. Many young people still associate agriculture with traditional farming methods and manual labour. AgroTrainings seeks to change this perception by introducing participants to the knowledge, technologies and business opportunities shaping the modern agricultural sector.

Our trainings go beyond teaching participants how to farm. We help young people understand agriculture as a business, an industry and an innovation ecosystem — combining knowledge, practical exposure, mentorship and access to opportunities so participants can move from simply being interested in agriculture to identifying where they can actually participate and create value.
